Instagram is one of the most popular places to share images and videos with followers. Users can now preview posts on other social media platforms before sharing.
Instagram announced improvements in compatibility with other social media platforms, allowing users to preview posts before sharing. This news was expected since it was previously revealed by the social network a month ago.
While this may not seem like a big change for Instagram users, it is significant for those managing multiple social media profiles. Previously, only captions and links were visible in shared posts. The new update shows the entire post, giving users a preview of how it will appear on other platforms. However, previews are only available for posts from public accounts.
If your Instagram account is private, viewers must click a link to see the post. Additionally, Stories cannot be previewed. Previews can also be shown on websites, not just on social networks.
