The 2.4 update for Genshin Impact is on the way, with two new characters set to be introduced along with the exploration of ancient ruins from a once-thriving nation. The update is scheduled for release on January 5.
Chinese developer miHoYo has announced the release of the new version named Fleeting Colors of Flight. Players will have the opportunity to uncover the submerged ruins of Enkanomiya that have been sealed under the Inazuma for centuries. Along with the new land, players can look forward to trying out two new characters - Yun Jin, a four-star polearm fighter, and Shenhe, a five-star polearm fighter. These new characters will aid players in facing off against enemies in Enkanomiya, including the Bathysmal Vishaps predators. Keep an eye on their ability to use the environment to their advantage.
Enkanomiya, a massive floating island beneath the ocean, is a constant battleground eroded by the Abyss. The land there is in a state of perpetual daylight with a simulated sun, the Dainichi Mikoshi, created by the ancient civilization that once inhabited the island. Players will need to use this artificial sun to solve puzzles within the new land.
This holiday season brings a wealth of gifts for Genshin Impact players, including new lands to explore, new characters to play, seasonal events offering free 4-star characters, the opportunity to rebuild Jade Chamber with Ningugang, and 10 Intertwined Fates.
