The new upcoming release in the well-known racing series, Gran Turismo 7, was originally thought to be an exclusive for PlayStation 5. However, as per the latest post on the PlayStation blog, Sony is seriously considering releasing the game for PlayStation 4 as well. This information comes directly from Hermen Hulst, the head of PlayStation Studios, making it the most official source.
In addition to Gran Turismo, Hulst also mentioned other games like God of War 2 and Horizon Forbidden West. While the next installment of God of War is still a long way off, Horizon Forbidden West has already been teased. Even though the PS5 version looks superior, the PS4 version of the game will still impress players. The same might be true for Gran Turismo 7.
Gran Turismo has been part of the gaming scene since 1997, offering a mix of arcade-style physics and realistic visuals that has made it a popular racing game for over two decades. The upcoming Gran Turismo 7 is expected to combine features from GT Sport and GT 6, potentially introducing new modes and definitely enhancing physics and visuals. Developed once again by Polyphony Games and led by Yamauchi “Kaz” Kazunori, fans can expect the same style with plenty of twists and turns on the tracks.
